as u knw, im quite into this 'hal ehwal negara'. i read news everyday abt what's happening in the whole world, political news and etc. so today i was attracted to news regarding foreign cars are not allowed to buy any petrol in M'sia unless they travel more than 50km far from Singapore or Thailand. i'm not gonna make an essay out of this. dont u think its kinda ridiculous to implement this rule? let's think of a few reasons. wat if your family decided to stay over at Johor and u went shopping there. u drive ard there till your car is drain of petrol. do u have to come back to S'pore to fill it to full tank and go back to Johor? well, as u knw, Johor is nt that far from S'pore and i doubt Johor-Singapore is more than 50km. another reason is they will be at loss cause all these while, it's been the foreigners who make their business boost. when they used to get 80-100 cars in the afternoon, now they only get ard 30 cars. their business is down by more than 50%. in the end, they will still be the one 'rugi'. maybe after their lost to S'pore for Pedra Branca, they did this. but i also read that it's because due to the Thailand people who came to M'sia to fill up their big tanks. if u wanna knw more abt it, go n read the papers. it's quite an interesting news. better than any love stories i tell u..
