mooncake madness.

the mooncake festival at Taka is a great place to go to for now. u can see all types of mooncakes in different flavours, colours, shapes, sizes and wat fascinate me most is the packaging. goshh.. its beautiful.. some packages comes in the shape of lantern, nicely decorated boxes. i personally like the goodwood park and hie thou zhong packaging. its just beautiful.

there's lots of mooncake sample for us to try but mum and i was fasting. but not auntie yanti. due to some reasons lah eh.. we told her to taste the mooncakes and we will buy it. we bought one at eater palace. oh u shud try this one. its damn nice. the mooncake is deep fried and it comes in 2 flavours. yam and pumpkin. just one mooncake costs $7.50 and the whole box costs $30++. its like sooo expensive lahh.. i was telling mum that with $7.50, i can eat banana split at swensens rather than to pay for something small. but u see, this festival is only once a yr and kesian mak aku.. mengidam mooncake eater palace. satu tahun dier tunggu.

before i left, i manage to get one haagen dasz mooncake. the fillings is chocolate ice cream. oh i shud tell u its worth the money altho its freaking expensive for only 1 mooncake. -.-'
i guess, my next trip to taka will be buying some lanterns for my house decoration. i saw a few which is nice. so wat are u waiting for? head down to taka and enjoy all kinds of mooncake.
