we were lucky to escape from sharp tools like screw driver, spanner, nails and etc. an irresponsible resident near my place threw sharp items down and thank god, no one was walking outside and my fam was walking in the void deck. if it were to ever hit anyone, that person will be dead. i think there must be a fight going on and that person just threw anything that he saw down. even bicycle! i was standing in the void deck waiting for mum and lil sis when suddenly i heard noises. i saw spanner and sort of a clamp 'flying'. its not 1 or 2 tools but i think more than 10.


my mum lodge a police report. dad jokingly said "police tk akan angkat call org lain selain Mas Selamat." so pls walk at the void deck in case some mad man or woman wanna practice their 'shotput' skills by throwing things.
kalau terkena krg, selamat dunia and akhirat ehh..


some ppl are just so irresponsible.

The Leap Year


A leap year or intercalary year is a year containing one or more extra days in order to keep the calendar year synchronised with the astronomical or seasonal year. So that's leap year for u. time passed really fast that u don't even realize that you are getting older. the last time the leap yr visits us was in 2004 and i was still in my nerdy days and having new friends from the express stream. we were then busy deciding wat to wear for prom night and what we planned to do. and u knw wat? our prom night was 2 yrs back. back then, i can't wait to be in the yr of 2008 where i will turn 18. i've always like the number of 18 cause the to me, the number signify freedom and happiness. a yr where we will be allowed to watch M18, a yr where we will be able to take our license, a yr where we don't have to go for underage parties instead, we can enter any clubs we want, a yr which i believe will bring us lots of happiness. nvr forget to thank god for letting us live till this far.


By the time another leap year visits us, we will be busy attending numerous number of events. u might nvr knw if your bestfriend is getting engaged or married, some maybe have kids(too young?), some having successful career and some may even be studying in the university. many things can happen between this 4 yrs. and hopefully, the good ones.

i suddenly have the urge to blog abt this.


as all of u knw, the most dangerous man managed to escape from the underground prison near Whitley. if u don't even know where's Whitley, it is near St Joseph Institution. that explains y that place was guarded by police and army along the pathway. i was on my way to town in the bus when i saw lots of our defence ppl by the roadside. now i wonder how he managed to escape from the Whitley Road Detention although the security is really tight. the only reason that i could think of is with the help of someone working inside or an informer. how could a limping man walk out just like that. am i not right?


if u are wondering y he is dangerous, it is because he is the Head Of JI, Singapore. he wanted to crash a hijacked plane into Changi Airport, water pipelines from Malaysia, Defence Ministry, US embassy and American Club. logically, i dun understand y they wanna do all these non-profitable things when in the end of the day, they will still be thrown in hell. does changi airport kill ur family? does changi airport make u lose ur job when u r just a mechanic person? does it make these ppl happy to see pool of blood all over? but his escape is considered "unbelievable" in Singapore cause our security is tight.


just be careful when you are outside cause you might nvr knw if he is near you. im afraid to go out now.

i've been running out of ideas watta blog about. maybe its all due to the boring events happening these days. but i've been out these few days and end up reaching home late.
yday, all of us the aliens was so excited to reach home. the feeling at changi airport is just like when u're at Mars. altho none of us knw how it feels like at Mars, but i still feel that's how mars look like. its like as if u r in some outer space. so we walked past terminal 3 which is really niicee.


fatin, rya and i played a silly guessing game of which country will be up next on the departure board. so we were quite loud that i guess everyone was looking at us. there's just so many interesting countries to go to. for example, switzerland, thats where the nicest chocolates on earth come from. and oh yes, New Zealand, the place that have a very nice scenery and not forgetting bungee jumping. how bout Paris? having dinner near the Eiffel Tower.. and last but not least, UK, a country popular for football. im sure the atmosphere there is totally different. maybe it will be good to see Liverpool vs AC milan cause one is my fave team and the another team has my Kaka. hahaha!


but watever it is, nth rox like your own home and most importantly, your own bed. =P

the past few days, i've been rather bzy with friends and work. trying to find a new job with better environment and maybe, get free things. today is Yuki last day and since im lazy to join them for a BBQ seafood gathering over at Cineleisure, i decided just to buy a chocolate for her since she wanted Meiji Chocs so bad. just a $1.60 chocs. so y nt?


i only have 60 cents in my wallet cause i left my money in my mango pants and thinking that i only wanted to gt a drink, i didn't draw out any money. not until Yuki wanted to have dinner with me at KFC. the 2 piece chicken meal was irresistible that i just need to have it. not full with the meal, i decided to get banana ball. so im not saving up money actually coz i ended up drawing money out from my bank. i think im gonna give my card to mum for safety reason.


today, mum cooked asam pedas and fried cabbage. jgn jealous..

i don't even dare to steal someone's bf. what's more, someone's fiance.


so stop thinking negatively!

it's down to the last 2 after the International Olympic Committee pared the field Monday, eliminating Athens, Greece; Bangkok, Thailand; and Turin, Italy.

Singapore, a city-state of 4.5 million people, has never hosted a major international multisports event. Singapore's projected budget is $75.5 million while Moscow's is $180 million. Both cities offered guarantees to cover any financial shortfall. Any currency fluctuations between the U.S. dollar and local currencies would also be covered by the organizers.
Singapore proposes 24 venues, including one large cluster of 13 sports. Nineteen of the venues already exist, four would be built as temporary facilities and one is under construction for equestrian.


whatever the results, Singapore has already won in a different way. the support for the bid has been overwhelming and exceptionally strong, proving our critics wrong. As of the 19th of February, we have 4709 members on the Facebook group, and 137 registered websites and 159 registered email addresses. we have seen the surge of activities on the community front, with businesses, social groups, schools and people from all walks of life converging for the sole aim of supporting the bid. even my own school, NYP, did something to support our country for the Youth Olympic Games. i doubt there has ever been another event that has drawn us Singaporeans together like this. i am proud to be part of this, and to be a Singaporean.


we might be small, but we are mighty. it's already a big success for Singapore to be in the top 2.

im halfway done with my maths and im really nt confident about doing my papers on this coming monday. while doing, something came across my mind. i chose accounting as my second elective for yr 2. so now, im hoping and praying hard i won't gt it and instead, i will gt my 1st choice which is marketing. i can imagine my life taking accounting. seeing numbers all the time is the same as seeing my bed which is always calling me to slp. maybe i will have lots of white hairs like my grandparents or worse still, botak like my cousin. imagine how ugly i will look like. i still wanna look like Miranda ok.. (aten, dont jealous!)

yes, war will occur between maths and i. in order to win the war, i need to solve those qns and gt the right ans. if not, bush will win. so now, anyone supporting osama? (i know naqiah do since her bluetooth name is Osama bin Laden).


watever it is, just pray that 'osama' will win the war on monday.
tomorrow, 'osama' will be meeting Captain H for some maths practice.
when our powers and mind combine, im sure we can do better.

im at home right now babysitting my lil sister since my parents is out for a date. i asked mum where she's going but she said that it's a secret. on the way home, i told the sweeties and i was wondering where my parents will be going. my dad looovveee LJS. so i was thinking that maybe they will be having candlelight dinner at LJS and to make it worse, the sweeties said maybe fish & co. i hope not cause if they do, i wanna follow! i've been craving for seafood platter this afternoon. girls, maybe we should go there soon for new york fish n chips too. for naqiah, maybe Arnold since she's a big fan of chicken. noo.. i think we should go sakura international buffet as they served all kinds of food except pork. sushi, clams, shark fins, pizza and etc. just name it and they have it. all those famous food. maybe one day i can be a host on makanGELOJOH on tv so that i can gt to eat free food.


the conclusion is because of food, i can be broke cause all the nice food is expensive.

so off we went swimming at Jurong East. the place was not as crowded as usual when i went there with the fam ages ago. maybe because today is tuesday and no one wanna go swimming in the afternoon for fear getting so dark. but we just jump into the pool. from 12:30pm till 4:30pm. terbalik kan org yg ddk kat boyar, jatuh berkali2 dlm air sampai sakit hidung and etc.


each of us have embarassing moments.


me: i was floating and w/o realizing, my head hit the wall. and my reaction was slow. i suddenly saw the 3 of them laughing at me.


naqiah: she was supposed to take the top slide with Fatin. so atie and i waited for them at the landing area. we were like "asl lambat sgt sey drg nk turun?" suddenly, i saw Naqiah coming down. i saw the lifeguard laughing at her when she said that she was scared of height when the slide has nth to do with heights. hahah.


fatin: she was drifted to the deep side of the pool and she got no choice but to ask help from the ang mohs. thank god they are kind of enough.


atie: she wanted to scare both naqiah and i by hiding behind the wall. thinking that it was us, she shouted. but instead of us, it was an indian man. hahaha. luckily that indian man didnt drown or die of a heart attack. hahaha.


all of us were complaining abt our skin. we are all soo dark. fatin even gt a sunburn. i can hear my father scolding me for getting so dark. he was like "asl hitam sgt ni??!"


i looked for my bed when i reached home. i was soo tired and i guess, the 3 of them too.


can u guys believe it? we have exam on Monday and we haven't started studying anything. instead, we spent time at the pool learning how to swim.

for the first time, i went to kelong with my family at Tanjung Puteri to eat fresh seafood. thinking that it's somehow near, i stay awake at the back of my cousin's car to see how beautiful the scenery is. but the journey somehow bore me as it's quite long and due to the bumpy road, im having a big headache now. i think they need to service the road cause there's lots of stones. i finally fell aslp with my sister sitting on me and Lydia head on my shoulder. when i woke up, all i can see is a dark place. i thought that my cousin drove towards the wrg way. but at the front i saw my aunt's car. so it shud be right. we finally reached the place. there were animals like twin monkeys and chickens to welcome us at the pathway. we even went to the kelong to see fishes. but too bad, its already dark. so we sat down and just wait for our food to arrive. not bad and it even comes with a dessert and a hot bun. it's my uncle and cousin's birthday and so we had cake too. ayu, lydia and i walked ard and i played with those aggressive monkeys. they are inside the cage and always try to steal the rope from me. but when i pull the rope hard, i saw the monkey face bang onto the cage.. err.. sry monkeys. hahaha.

i got 2 classmates to be with me for my break since their workplace is nearby.
i won't be alone and bored anymore.

i was watching a documentary on people living in Africa. about the poor ones and it really makes me feel grateful for wat i have now. the documentary sort of touched me.


this is the reality bites..


IF u think studying annoy u, how bout those ppl in africa? they don't even gt education like us. no pen, no papers. just a stick as the pen and ground as papers.


IF u hate veggies in your food, those people don't even get to eat it. what's more, beef or chicken. they starve of hunger!


IF u think u r fat and u wanna go on a diet, those people didnt even complain about their body shape. they die from it!


IF u think your parents care tire u and think that they bother too much about u, those people dont even have parents to be with them and take care of them since young.


IF u are sick and tired of your XBOX, PSP, PS3 games and all arcade games available, they don't even have a chance to see those games u played. what's more to even touch it. they have no option!


IF someone got u adidas instead of nike, havainas instead of brazilliano praiA, those ppl only have one brand which is plastic bottle brand. u wear expensive brands to anywhere u go but they only have cloth tied up to plastic bottle as their footwear.


IF u are not thankful for a small bed u have to sleep in and kept complaining it's not comfortable, those ppl wish they will not wake up from their slp after having to suffer slping on the ground full of sands, dirt, stones.


and are u still complaining abt the life u lead in? these people don't even complain abt the life they are in.


observe the people around u and be thankful for all that u haf in this transitory lifetime.


we are fortunate, we have much more than what we need to be content.


let's not try to feed this endless cycle of consumerism and immorality in which this "modern and advanced" society frgets and ignores the other two thirds of our brothers and sisters.

i haf to admit that im getting lazy each day to blog. there's so much things to blog abt but im just lazy to do so. it's been raining these few days and the weather is just suitable for us to just be on bed and feel like a princess/prince.
yday, i slept throughout my maths lecture but i can't really have a nice slp cause the aircon was super duper extremely cold yday. i was shivering non stop. so when i woke up, i saw fatin who is next to me slping as if she's at her own bed with her legs up on the chair. both of us can't stand the cold-ness in the room and end up walking out of the lecture hall. i continue slping at the staircase. yes, i've been feeling really tired these days. but with the goodfriends to keep me company, classmates to make me laugh, school is nvr a bore.

3 more days and it's the end of the semester. woohoo!


ok bye! im going to Bedok. all of u can swallow ur 1 ton of saliva now.
